NOT A MOVING AVERAGE

Weighted by Where Volume Traded

A moving average treats every candle the same. VWAP doesn't — a price where huge volume changed hands counts far more.

The manual way

Guessing how far is too far.

Without a proper reference, every intraday read is a guess:

  • Is price extended, or just getting started?
  • Where did the real volume actually trade today?
  • Is this a pullback to fade or a trend to follow?
  • Where did yesterday's average leave off?

The real volume has an address.

VWAP is the price institutional execution is measured against. Trading intraday without it in view is trading blind to where the size actually changed hands.

VWAP Pro maps the whole session in five bands.

Central line, five bands, shaded zones and yesterday's reference — the full picture of how stretched price is, the moment you open the chart.

How it works

Anchored, weighted, banded.

01

📍

Anchors to the session

It resets at the start of each daily session and tracks the volume-weighted average price from there.

02

📊

Measures the stretch

It gauges how far price typically strays and builds five pairs of bands around the VWAP from that.

03

🎨

Shades the zones

Between each band pair sits a shaded zone, so you read how extended price is at a glance — no numbers needed.

The whole session, mapped.

The VWAP line

The volume-weighted average price of the session. The central reference. (Change it from black in settings so it shows on dark charts.)

Bands above

How far price has stretched above the VWAP — normal, extended, then rare territory.

Bands below

The mirror below the VWAP. Configurable independently from the upside.

Why it's different

Not the two-band VWAP you know.

Five bands, not two

From normal range to rare extremes, mapped in five levels — configurable above and below independently.

Yesterday's reference, live

A mean to return to in a range, a trend reference when price rides an outer band. It shows both; you read the market.

Yesterday's reference, live

The previous session's VWAP held flat, colour-coded to current price. A significant level most tools ignore.

Statistical, not arbitrary

The default band distances map to recognised statistical thresholds — not numbers picked at random.
